Ms. McIntyre-Yurkovich practices primarily in the areas of criminal law, juvenile law, school law, and family law. Her trial experience includes misdemeanor and felony criminal cases, family law matters, abuse and neglect cases, and school law related matters. She has extensive experience in representing individuals in school meetings and administrative proceedings, which include but are not limited to special education, student discipline, and school employment matters.

Ms. McIntyre-Yurkovich is certified as a Guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults. She is qualified to represent incapacitated adults in guardianship, conservatorship, and family law matters. Ms. McIntyre-Yurkovich also routinely serves as counsel for those seeking guardianship and/or conservatorship of an incapacitated adult.

Ms. McIntyre-Yurkovich was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2002 and to the Eastern District Federal Court in March of 2004. She is licensed to practice in Virginia state and federal courts. She is an active member of the Virginia State Bar and Fairfax Bar Association. She is also a member of the Virginia Women Attorney Association and Family Law and Young Lawyer’s sections of the Fairfax Bar Association. In addition, she is a participant in the Northern Virginia Legal Services Pro Bono Program.
